A RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS

In 2004, Paul Walker secretly purchased a $10,000 engagement ring for an Iraqi vet's  fiance. He was at a jewelry store in Santa Barbara California, and overheard the couple talking about a ring that was too expensive for them. Walker quietly put the ring "on his tab" and walked out.

We always can not just rely on others to make the world a better place, we all have a part to play in making the world a better place. We all have to be conscious and aware of our personal social responsibility, which is all about doing to others what you want others do to you. It's about you recognizing how your attitude/behavior affects other people around you.

Kindness is contagious, the person you are being kind to benefits through your help, and you certainly will feel good having helped someone. As part of your social responsibility, you might want to consider carrying out a random act of kindness on daily basis. It's actually a win win situation. Never underestimate the impact of a single act of kindness, it's also very important not to expect anything in return when showing kindness.

Today is the perfect day to start rendering an act of kindness. Do something nice for someone today, it doesn't  need to be a grand gesture......

  • Treat a friend to the movie for no reason.
  • Help someone change their flat tyre
  • Let someone jump the queue
  • Pay for somebody's drink
  • Open doors for people
  • Appreciate someone/ say something nice.
  • Help a homeless man
  • Compliment a colleague
  • Return a lost item to the owner
  • Help an elderly neighbor
  • Tell someone about my blog (smiles) .
What goes around sure do comes around. Spread kindness everyday.

RIP PAUL WALKER........
