Chris Sam appointed the Executive Director of A.Y.E in Cross River State.

Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs (A.Y.E) which is committed to empowering young entrepreneurs across Africa by creating platforms that facilitate intra-trade on the continent. And also dedicated to developing the next generation of outstanding African entrepreneurs, who will shape the economies and political landscapes of their home countries. Have on Sunday 31st January 2017 confirmed the nomination of Mr Chris Sam as the Executive Director of A.Y.E in Cross River State.


On a mail sent to Mr Chris Sam, the President of A.Y.E Mr Summy Smart Francis have congratulated Mr Chris on his new role, charging him for an effective representation.

Introducing Chris Sam:

Born in a small town of Betem in Cross River State, Chris Sam began his journey through life a complete village boy.  Chris is the last among five children of a Retired primary school teacher Mrs Bassey M. Anieze.  Mrs Bassey, a hard working woman, raised her children in a very disciplined way.  It was from here that Chris learned much of his principles and develop his ambition of affecting the world.

Chris Sam, after leaving home at age 19, decided to move to the city for the first time in his life.  He went to Calabar where he faced numerous challenges that made him understand the first basic lessons of survival. Living in a church then, he was surrounded with friends who became brothers, He enjoyed his time though faced with difficulties, but yearned for a better life, dreamed it and vow within him to have it. He enrolled at the South south Development centre, where he got his basic computer knowledge before enrolling for Jamb.

Years after, he got his first task of leadership at Grace Consulate, where his life took a new dimension. Motivated and inspired by his mentor Pastor Lawrence Agbata, who charged him with the position of director of sounds.

Chris Sam has been recognized in his life many times. With outstanding numerous leadership certificates from YALI Network (Young African Leaders Initiative). One of his prowdess accomplishments in life is mentoring and motivating people across Africa from the platform of his childhood vision UNBREAKABLEGUARD, which he has used to affect lives both online and in the society.

Further accomplishments was the publishing of his magazine “Sights and Rhymes”  and the successful hosting of the Calabar poetry slam. His motivationals, published online have received numerous comments and inputs. Currently the  lead Rep of poets in Nigeria, Calabar connect centre, his role towards the success of Festival Poetry Calabar 2016 cannot be overemphasised.

Chris Sam with his numerous and diverse skills set, has a strong interest and connection with entertainment, hence his company KCRISS PRODUCTIONS LTD, registered on the 17 October 2014,  Co- founded with his friends, Chtistal Ogar esq, and Israel Ahong.

Chris Sam believed that, the best achievement in life is affecting the world positively and contributing to the growth and stability of the nation economy, through effective entrepreneurial activities.

Nominated for the position of the State Executive Director,  A.Y.E (Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs) Cross River State. He is determined to lead the youth in Cross River State towards an entrepreneurial change in both attitude and practice.
