 A massive Event is set to take place in the city of Calabar. It's the Calabar Entertainment Conference with a motive to DEFINE, REFINE AND REINVENT ENTERTAINMENT IN CROSS RIVER STATE. The Event will hold on the 20th of October 2017at the Channel View Hotel main hall.

The Conference which is put together by the State's first Urban Privately owned Radio Station will be bringing in Big Shots in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry, the likes of Kate Henshaw, Adesuwa Etomi, Keppy Ekpenyoung, Uche Pedro,Dj Jimmy Jatt, Kenny Ogungbe, Harry Songz, Dr. Garba Abari, Lancelot Oduwa and a host of others.

 You might be wondering whats the conference going to be about?

Basically, The Conference is all about rejuvenating Entertainment in Calabar. We seem not to have other major Events apart from the Annual Calabar Festival.

Even though the city of Calabar and the State in general have creative talents in Music, Movies, Fashion, and even Make-Ups. But they are all stalling due to Lack of support and lack of opportunities.

Which is why Hit Fm has decided to create a forum to bring in expert's from the Nigerian Entertainment Industry to come share their success stories and at the same time inspire the State's upcoming Art.

So, it's basically an avenue for entertainers from Calabar and entertainers from Lagos to interact, network and connect.
